Role Overview: UX Writer for Digital Product Content Strategy

Main Responsibilities: UX Microcopy, Content Design, and Collaboration

• Write, edit, and maintain concise and engaging UX copy for product interfaces, including menus, buttons, notifications, tooltips, and onboarding flows.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and QA to create unified, consistent content across all screens and touchpoints.
• Maintain and evolve a clear, accessible tone of voice tailored to each product’s audience and objectives.
• Champion accessibility, simplicity, and inclusivity in all user-facing content.
• Shape and document content standards, patterns, and guidelines to ensure content quality is scalable and sustainable.
• Use data, feedback, and usability research to inform content decisions and refine user flows.

Essential Experience & Skills for UX Writing Roles

• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, Digital Copywriter, or similar within digital product teams.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful UX microcopy and content design in live products.
• Exceptional written and verbal English; keen attention to clarity, brevity, and accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams (remote experience is a plus).
• Understanding of UX principles, content strategy, design systems, and inclusive language best practices.
• Familiarity with design and collaboration tools (e.g. Figma, Miro) and basic UX research methods.
